My name is Matt Aldridge and I’m a 3D artist working at Apache Solutions Ltd. in St Albans, Hertfordshire.
Because we’re a small company, I am the only artist, and as such get to perform a wide variety of tasks including: concepting, modelling, texturing, lighting, animating, shader writing and more. Most of our stuff needs to run on mobile devices in real time and so the focus lies in creating eye-catching artwork with a limited polycount and number of materials. We work primarily in Unity, though occasionally in Ogre running through a system called D’Fusion.
I have a wide knowledge base in CGI, having worked professionally in both pre-rendered and realtime disciplines, which is built on a foundation of strong traditional art skills and a passion for the field.
